Trendware 2 port KVM switch review
Use two PCs with one keyboard, mouse and monitor
By Red Squirrel
Installation is very simple. Well actually, I don't really consider it an installation. Basically, take your mouse, monitor and keyboard and plug them into the switch, this particular one has built in cables for the computers, so take one end, plug the keyboard, vga and mouse connectors to PC1 and do the same for PC2.
Here is a look at the switch, as you can tell by comparing it to the plugs, it's not very big at all.

Also look at the nice quality put into the cables. They really look cool, especially if you happen to have a case with blue lights, or red would add a cool effect too. This is one set out of like 50 visible wires under my desk so looks don't really matter in my case though.

To switch PCs, it's simple, simply press the scroll lock key twice and then hit the up or down arrow. In this case it's a 2 port so it really does not matter, but if it was a 4 port, then the up arrow would go from PC2 to PC1 and the down would go from PC2 to PC3, for example. There are also more functions that use hotkeys but this is the most important. There's a well-organized sheet indicating the various functions, that comes with the switch.
Well not much more to say about a KVM switch, but as a word of conclusion, I decided that I'll switch to electronic ones from now on since they really turn me on! :D
