Posted by newsbot on May 12th 2009 The Zotac IONITX-A-U motherboard, with the Atom 330 processor andNVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics core is an impressive motherboard for itssize, for its power consumption and for the features it includes. Theproblem with the ION platform is that it can't compete in raw CPU-basedtasks with the likes of the AMD Athlon X2 7750, or even the Intel Celeronprocessor for that matter, simply because the Intel Atom core is so limitedin its computational power. If you were to just look at it from a pricingpoint of view, the AMD system is a much better performer for the money thanZotac's ION platform is. View article at pcper.com |
